About Space Workforce for Tomorrow

The space industry is at a pivotal moment. With rapid growth across all sectors, we need a strong, vibrant, and engaged workforce to stay at the cutting edge of innovation. Making progress to ensure the brightest talent in our ranks is essential to the future success of our industry.

The challenges we face are bigger than a single organization. As space leaders, we play key roles shaping culture and setting priorities at our respective companies. We also share common challenges that can benefit by our working together.

Space Workforce for Tomorrow (SWFT) is a collective effort that demonstrates the power of collaboration within our industry. What began as small group of interested parties is now a growing consortium of 30 companies.

By signing the pledge, we have made a long-term commitment to strengthen our workforce and holding ourselves accountable for measurable results. Members will meet at a working level twice per year for open discussions about progress and to exchange best practices. Annually, we will publicly share aggregated industry data.

As we pursue the exciting opportunities that await in space, we anticipate these actions will have a profound impact on the future of the industry. We are committed to working together toward strengthening our nation’s space workforce, which will have a lasting benefit for all.
